Battleship North Carolina Receives CAP Grant

Battleship North Carolina recently received a $7,000 CAP grant for collections assessment. The Collections Assessment for Preservation (CAP) program is a joint effort of the Institute of Museum and Library Services – an independent Federal agency, and the Foundation for Advancement in Conservation to help small and mid-sized museums better care for their collections.

BZ to CAPT Terry Bragg and everyone involved!

Hi I’m a voluntary worker on the battleship NC, Capt Terry Bragg, is a great asset to the ship, he always says hello to all of us old guys that help out on the Wed gang, and gets us money.. to do the things that need to be done, to keep the ship in good order…thank you

Many thanks for your kind remarks, Mr. Colman. Terry Bragg is one of the most admired and well respected memebrs of Historic Naval Ships Association and everyone in the Historic Fleet know of the success that he – with the great help of persons like you and your colleagues – have been able to do for the ship AND the public over the past years. Congratulations to you and your colleagues. Bravo Zulu!
